Big Relaxing Fun in Little Conch! A.K.A Key West!

Maybe you don’t want to travel out of the States for whatever reason, but still want both fun and relaxation in what feels like an Island.

Even if you already live in Florida and really love it, when you arrive in Key west, you will feel as if you’re on the smallest, cutest, and happening Tropical Island! Key West has a lay back feel with colorful up beat fun!

There’s plenty of great food and watering holes with plenty to do. Check out Molloy Square with food stands, restaurants and Tours. Check out the Aquarium, pick up some perfume or Key lime ice cream!

Have some Cuban Cuisine! You can get around on a scooter or mini buggy! Don’t forget to catch the sunset! After the night comes alive with music and great vibes!

You can stay at several great locations, from a bed & breakfast, rent a house, Southern most on the beach, however Ocean’s edge with a view of the marina, boats and the open waters is just amazing. The rooms are set up like small apartments with a separate living room and mini bar. The housekeeper went the extra mile. It was such a peaceful place to catch up on rest and relaxation, it was perfect for our babymoon.

You can always find a quiet spot at the pool. The Property has several pools .

Get on what I call an all in 1 fun boat with water slides, and plenty to do on the water. On this vacation we opted to stay on land due to my condition and it was not a disappointment.

Take a Trolley or haunted tour, rent a boat, go fishing or party on a party boat.

Check out our friends at La Trattoria Restaurant for the best in Italian Cuisine, everyone there goes the extra mile; it was such a wonderful experience, we went back a second time during our stay, they are constant. Meet the locals! You’ll find Iguanas and Roosters all about the town and human locals called Conchs! See the home of the late Ernest Hemingway and the way he lived, see all the colorful and unique homes. Enjoy the fresh catch of the day and meet the fishermen at “The Stoned Crab”; another of my hubby’s favorite places to eat. Make it a Virgin Pina Colada for me.

And who can forget a pic at the end at the Southernmost point. Unfortunately I didn’t get my picture, I brought it home instead. Long lines, July heat and a belly do not mix.

No matter what you decide to do, you can’t go wrong with Key West.
